Grants for Waste LandsThe Steering Committee of the Agriculture State Fund decreed subsidies amounting to 1 million levs to be allotted for cultivating waste lands as of March 1st. This year, 1.5 million levs are slated for facilitating the export of farm products. For the first time ever, farmers will be granted gratuitously means to buy certified barley seed. 5 million levs are slated for foraging live stock and poultry from the National genofund. |
