Bulgaria's former football star, Krassimir Balukov, said he was in negotiations with Borislav Mihaylov, President of the Bulgarian Football Union, on succeeding Plamen Markov as coach of the national team.
"I have talked with Mihaylov several times, but I cannot tell you more, because this is still inside information. I am a coach and I may have some different views than his, but this is quite natural. If we reach an agreement, I may take up the national team in the summer,' Balakov said further. However, he did not comment on the problems in the team.
Balukov also admitted that he had received an offer from FC Vojvodina.
