For the first time in Bulgaria the Ministry of Health declared national flu epidemic yesterday. Flu epidemics have been previously declared in separate regions of the country with higher infection rate but never nationwide.
The number of infected in Bulgaria currently avalanches and has reached 210 per 10,000. (The epidemic is declared when the incidence rate reaches 200 per every 10,000.) The increase of the number of infected urgently necessitates limiting contacts between people, which will stop the distribution of the virus.
According to the forecasts of the World Health Organization, A(H1N1)flue will infect every third European.  
One thousand and fourteen schools closed doors even before the start of the flu vacation yesterday. At about 05:00 p.m., the authorities from the Ministry of Education informed about new 178,853 victims of the swine flu epidemic. The number of ill teachers was 2992.
