Bulgarian students can apply for trainees in the Delegation of the European Commission to the United Nations in New York. The term of the practice is three to six months and the trainees are expected to work 35 - 40 hours per week. However, the training doesn't provide a salary. The information was posted on Eurodesk.org. The European Commission offers such training courses three times a year.
The idea of the programme is trainees to get acquainted with the structure of the United Nations and the functioning of some important bodies as the Security Council, the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council.
