Bulgaria?s support for Macedonia is not unconditional and depends on whether the country meets all the criteria for EU membership, Bulgaria President, Georgi Parvanov told his Macedonian counterpart, Gjorge Ivanov over the phone yesterday.
Macedonia President thanked for the consistent policy of Bulgaria towards supporting the aspirations of Macedonia to accede to the EU. He asked Parvanov for assistance in fixing a date for the start of negotiations on Macedonia EU accession at the forthcoming European Council sitting in December.
