During the whole year I’ve been making notes, trying to depict the situation in the most objective way. I hope this is how it looked before, that is why it is so important that this note is taken seriously, too.
Before setting out to describe the current situation, I would like to remind that you were cheated out of considerable amounts of money and cheated deliberately. This has never been true about me.
Now let’s get to the point.
Yesterday, Ilya called your lawyer Marina on behalf of all lawyers of Leshem and A. to inform her of two things:
1. Our case in court is “getting lopsided”, the lawyers of the second party have not been responding to the process for half a year now, which is not normal, whereas M.Ch. slinks hook. So, we have to start finishing him here, legally and publicly, and this what we are going to propose to our lawyers. We inform her because our lawyers are not in hurry either, for they profit by sucking out money from clients, instead of acting promptly and efficiently.
2. We are not sure at all that you want to keep relationships with us, because the humanitarian project, approved by O.V.D. personally, got stuck when it came to you, and this situation has been persisting for three months already. It is clear that the project is needed to avoid redundant questions about what it has to do with you at a certain phase of the trial…
In reply to that Marina said that all this case was triggered because of us in November, otherwise she wouldn’t have talked with us at all. It turns out that we are to blame for what was happening, we are to blame for this trial and for the fact that now it will be protracted for a very long time and nothing can be done about it… She also said she has nothing to do with point 2, however, regardless of it there is no need in rushing into action without thinking things over first and weighing up consequences, etc. The conversation was going along these lines for half an hour, besides, to his words, it sounded she was doing a favor and came the old soldier over him. Some times she would even raise voice.
I, e., in other words, your lawyer not only fails to understand who is to blame and was happening here, she not only doesn’t give a damn about the human factor, but does not grasp the consequences of the current situation.
This is not only an insult and rudeness to all of us, this a knife stubbed in the back!
Once I opted for accelerating the resolution of the M.Ch.’s case with the help of the local authorities via a public process, because I sincerely believed that people like him have nothing to do in our country. There was no one else who would have liked to take up this case publicly, being aware of his opponent, risking his own good name and connections. I’m not talking about outcasts, nor those who were not living here by that time, nor those who could resort to black PR without shouldering responsibility for it. It is also worth reminding how Mr. Lieberman approached my former political bosses, including the incumbent defense minister Ehud Barak and how later Nevzlin (who I didn’t even know then) turned to Gusinski and then kicked me out of work there.
It is noteworthy that neither Ilya nor David were not in YAHBAL then, where it was no trouble to terminate any relationships the same day by signing any paper like Aviv did it.
I would also like to remind that after November many things have been done, which my friends allowed me to do, and in the long run nothing was framed up or done on my own accord.

All this is done to let No.1 eventually close the case without any consequences and to his own advantage in the future trial with M.Ch. And this in the long run will happen. That is why A. and I – “the cogs” are no less important than D or A, certainly no less important than high-paid (400 USD/h) assistants of Leshem, Berkman, Weinstein, Rozovski. This may prevent the chain reaction and no one would even think of doing anything stupid. Is it so difficult to understand? Those “cogs” can be replaced while these ones are all bound together in one trial. Besides, the are cheaper than even the assistants of this lawyers’ cohort and behave loyally.
So, why insulting people who call out of necessity, who want to inform and be advised1?
I was shocked when Ilya informed me how the conversation with Marina unfolded. He is thinking over what can be done next. Having in mind the state of affairs, when since August a traveler returns empty-handed every ten days and it is not clear why he is making these trips at all? Now David set out on a trip for some reason

To be frank – talking objectively you now can make M.Ch. to be on the defensive on all fronts – in the press and in legal instances, because it’s been half a year now that he doesn’t reply any of the lawyer’s specifying questions, even before the court hearing of the case and without our approval. (Marina either doesn’t know about it or knows but made a fool of Ilya in a conversation with him, or she doesn’t care. The same applyes to the authorities (because the police starts considering the case of Lieberman concerning the letters by Eskin and how once he got hold of them.) In the long run M.Ch. will repeal this claim, because the further it goes, the more disadvantageous it becomes to him, moreover that if attacked publicly he will not know how to respond. All this wouldn’t have been possible, just the contrary, if this chain was broken, everyone take his own way fleeing abroad or siding with someone else. This is what M.Ch counted on from the very beginning, in November-February last year.
If we practice patience – the claim will pay off sooner or later, and it is possible to happen earlier that the lawyers believe, because, I repeat, the further it goes, the more meaningless it becomes for M.Ch. But, if the chain breaks he will take advantage of it.
Unlike the others I’m not going to take part in black PR projects, that is why I looked M.Ch. straight in the eye in BAGATZ. I will do so in the future. In the long run he will not be here, and I have contributed to that too.

The trial hasn’t even started so far. This is the time when we can activate the press and mount pressure on him. At the same time we can make apologies those newspapers that were working for him.
