OVD Special Service: Clandestine operations of Deripaska
It is not only the Forbes Magazine that makes a record of the falling rating of Oleg Deripaska, "the wealthiest man in Russia." He is also losing his standing in the eyes of the entire Russian community and public opinion archons. Recently we witnessed his shameful failures in Moscow, Pikalyovo, Israel, and England. Such events usually entail criminal liability.
… The Moment of Truth (Moment Istiny), a TV program hosted by Andrey Karaulov sent the first signal: at the peak of the crisis Deripaska signed down an order to pay dividends to himself amounting to almost nine billion rubles, which accounts for 103 percent of the yearly profit of his Krasnoyarsk plant KRAZ.!
Meanwhile, the workers of Deripaska in Achinsk are starving, while the security thugs of RusAl throw them out into the street because they refuse to buy out their industry-sponsored apartments at market prices. Karaulov sent a public address to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation requesting to investigate this outrage.
At the same time it has transpired that Deripaska cheated Putin and paid to the Pikalyovo workers only the wages due by August 31, no one knows what would happen to their payrolls later. In the program an appeal was voiced to bring to heel the brazen-faced tycoon and file a lawsuit against him.
However, it is true that Russian authorities usually gear up very slowly when it comes to oligarchs favored by the Kremlin (then, though, things roll on rather quickly.) Meanwhile Deripaska is to face the London court; he is sued by his former partner Michael Chernoy. As Forbes claims, at this court hearing all skeletons will be taken out of the cupboards. Some of these skeletons have already started falling out.
Intelligence On Line, an international journal of the Intelligence Association found out that a new portion of the correspondence by the Disinformation Agency working for Oleg Vladimirovich Deripaska (whose name is abbreviated as OVD in these letters) was posted on the Internet.
The recent assignments of this group (as it follows from the already published data) include smashing such people, as Potanin, Usmanov, Ivan Savvidi, Michael Chernoy, Sergey Popov and the trade union of the Pikalyovo workers.
The head of the OVD Disinformation Agency is investigative journalist Andrey Kalitin who is referred to as "OVD advisor on press issues" in the abovementioned letters.
Kalitin, who was repeatedly caught lying by his colleagues, was apparently commissioned back in 2006, when Chernoy filed a lawsuit against Deripaska in the London court claiming billions of dollars for a 20-percent stake that he allegedly owns in RusAl.
The structures of OVD hired Kalitin to write a book, an investigation into the former aluminum king that had to provide evidence that Chernoy was not the founding father of RusAl and Deripaska's mentor, but a mafioso and the umbrella of OVD.
As it was previously reported in the press, in the Holy Land Kalitin recruited Avigdor Eskin for the collection of defaming materials about Chernoy. Eskin is our former compatriot who became a far-right activist in Israel and even served a prison term as a participant in a moronic plot to catapult a pig's head inside the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.
As the "Delovaya Gazeta" wrote, Eskin hired a pack of Russian-speaking Israeli PR agents and they launched a smearing campaign against Chernoy pledging to deprive Chernoy of his Israeli citizenship.
The coordinator of this campaign was Alexey Drobashenko, PR mastermind of Basel. They recruited two Israeli private detectives and wiretapped Chernoy's phones.
It is noteworthy that a similar campaign was launched against Ansol, a London-based company of Avaz Nazarov, who accused OVD of illegally pushing his company out of the Tadzhik aluminum plant. Nazarov demanded an offset worth USD 485 million. Using RusAl computers (!) Deripaska's men hacked Ansol computers and stole the documentation but were caught red-handed by the British police. OVD had to pay about 1000 million dollars to Nazarov as ransom.
Evidently, the botch with Ansol didn't teach OVD a lesson. In 2007, three of his PR agents were arrested in Israel and their correspondence was posted on the Internet.
It became clear that they were preparing to barrage the British mass media with discrediting information about Chernoy, launch inquiries among the Israeli and British MPs, etc., etc. As a result, Chernoy filed a claim in Israel against Deripaska, Kalitin, Eskin and several other conspirators.
OVD didn't grasp anything and even poured more money into his Disinformation Agency. In Israel Eskin's team continues digging up dirt on Chernoy. Their yearly budget is 25.000 dollars. As their correspondence shows, the members of the group that lives by this money are Avigdor Eskin, David Eidelman, Mark Bibichkov, Ilya Rosenfeld, Rafi Pridan, Sam Berkovich, Shloma Groman.
This money would be enough to feed the families of at least 50.000 workers in Pikalyovo. The oligarch didn't have money for the workers, though, and cadged it from the state. At the same time the "magnificent seven" who dig up dirt in Israel following his orders always had (and have) plenty of money!
Moreover, Kalitin found new targets: Potanin, Usmanov, Savvidi, Popov, Pikalyovo trade union and described in detail all methods that should be used in waging a battle against them.
Ivan Savvidi
Kalitin and somebody named Dvortsov are hatching a campaign against Duma MP Ivan Savvidi. Their aim is a raider seizure of the latter's Donskoy Tabak (Don Tabacco) company.
Kalitin claims that he can draw in the international crime unit of Yahbal for this operation against Savvidi and reports that the enquiry aimed at finding out whether the "subject" is a holder of an Israeli passport (and the reply) would cost 10.000 dollars. It is not clear, though, if Kalitin shares the money with the Israeli cops or pockets all the bundles. The scenario of a raid of the Kalitin's arbitration "experts" on the Court of Arbitration panel, who solved the case in favor of Savvidi, was also directed there. Kalitin is editing a draft complaint against Savvidi addressed to Primakov, Head of the Chamber of Industry, and initiates a smearing campaign to discredit Savvidi in the press.
Pikalyovo
Kalitin and his curators are discussing a plan aimed at neutralization of the Pkalyovo trade union. They talk over their further steps and the names of the bribe-prone Duma members, as well as their fees for cooperation: public statements, MP’s enquiries, etc. The same applies to the central newspapers and the names of popular journalists.
Sergey Popov
Ex-owner of "Soyuzcontract", Godfather of Deripaska's daughter and one of his partners in RusAl, Sergey Popov probably knows more than anyone else what a hypocrite Deripaska is.
Apparently this is the reason why currently Kalitin is organizing a pseudo-scientific conference focused on the establishment of the Russian business. It is to be held in the Columbia University (USA.) He is planning to invite Sergey Khruschev to chair the conference and draw in even Gorbachev and Carter paying from the budget of RusAl that appears to be so meager when it comes to payment the Pikalyovo and Achinsk workers' wages.
However, the only aim of this conference is to give the floor to some "lecturer" who would say that Sergey Popov is the leader of the Podolsk organized crime group. Thus later OVD will have a chance to say that Popov, as well as Chernoy, was his umbrella and he himself doesn't owe anything to his partners.
It is also quite possible, though, that the conference in the Columbia University is simply Kalitin's attempt to rip off OVD. So far he hasn't even found a lecturer who would be ready to sully Popov. Now Kalitin is just thinking it over how to cajole an ex-partner of Popov, somebody Alexey Goldstein, whom he himself calls a "drug addict."
Cyprus - Bolshaya Dmitrovka
Kalitin and Eskin boast about their "intimate" relationships with Slava Palatnik, former representative of the Israeli police in Russia. The latter advised them to hire (for the OVD's money) a former officer of Shabaq, Israel's internal security service, and send him to Cyprus to dig out defaming information about Chernoy and the members of the Podolsk group, i.e. Popov.
As our Israli sources report, this is how they once concocted a suit against Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman, Chernoy's close friend. They stole (or bought) bank documents of Lieberman and submitted them to the police.
Somebody David Eidelman, member of the Eskin group was the cover of the operation. According to his version, he came across Lieberman's documents "by chance" when the latter forgot them in his office in the Knesset.
So, the question suggests itself: who will eventually face more serious problems? Would it be Chernoy who will have to explain to the Israeli police how and why he befriended Popov or Deripaska who will face the Russian prosecution to be questioned about his KRAZ dividends and the wage arrears in Pikalyovo.
Having in mind that rumors about Deriaska's plans to flee Russia are becoming more and more persistent, OVD is probably in for more trouble.
