In 1899, Konstantin Stoilov-led government resigned.
In 1937, King Boris III approved an election act, granting the right of vote to the Bulgarian women for the first time.
In 1945, Bulgarian citizens of German, Austrian and Hungarian extraction were deported to the USSR.
