"We are ready to immediately send medical units to Libya," stated Gen. Stoyan Tonev, Head of the Military Medical Academy. Bulgaria is ready to send military medics at a possible humanitarian operation. Ge. Tonev explained he waited for an order to send the medical units. It is not clear yet if NATO and the International Red Cross will make a decision for sending of the Bulgarian medical units to Libya.
