I see progress in the relations between China and Bulgaria, Mrs. Fu Ying says
China's Vice Foreign Minister Mrs. Fu Ying had a meeting with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov and hold political consultations at Foreign Ministry. On invitation of the Atlantic Club Mrs. Ying gave a lecture "China's Development: Challenges and Possibilities". Thirty years ago, in the beginning of her diplomatic career, Mrs. Fu Ying visited Bulgaria while working at China's embassy to Romania. She said it is pleasant and interesting to be in Sofia now - in times of globalization and challenges.

In China we believe the spring is a new beginning. Here in Sofia I bought a Martenitsa and put it on. I think this is a nice symbol of spring and I would like to join Bulgarians in the celebration of this important season. I hope our partnership will blossom in the next years.
