Dimiter Berbatov spent exactly 36 hours on the Bulgarian soil before fleeing to Greece in the company of his beloved Elena. Within this short time he had time to dispense awards of his foundation and to attend Baptizing ceremony of his small daughter Dea. He was short of time, though, to give out the awards to the kids who won the Danoniada tournament at the Bulgarian Army stadium yesterday.
While 300 kids were waiting for hi8m like for a Santa Clause at the stadium, Mitko was already flying to Greece with Elena. He want to have some rest as his nerves were evidently frayed by the noise about the recent developments in his football career. The couple has chosen on of the quiet Greek islands, a reserve of a kind for the rich only. “I do not want either to listen to the news or watch TV,” Berbatiov commented before his friends. Shortly before leaving Mitko and Elena baptized their little daughter Dea in the Boyana Church near Sofia.
