Borissov Starts Mission Clean Sea

The state buys a pigsty at Slanchev Briag to build a water-treatment plant

Borissov Cabinet starts constructing new water treatment plants at the seaside. The first step is cleaning the waters at Slanchev Briag resort. "I have sent Rossen Plevnevliev and Simeon Djankov to inspect the situation on the spot," PM Boyko Borissov told the Standart.
Currently the waste waters of the resort are treated in the plant in nearby Ravda. The plant?s capacities, however, are far too small to the task and it needs enlargement. This enlargement, though, is impeded by the neighbouring lot where the owner breeds pigs.
"Now we have to buy off the pigsty to enlarge the water treatment plant," Borissov explained and commented: "How come the whole of the coast has been completely built-up for twenty years and water treatment plants have not been constructed!"
The PM has ordered that Regional Development and Finance Minister, Plevnevliev and Djankov should calculate and plan the construction of the new water treatment plants at the Black Sea coast.
