text sizeAuthorities Alarmed by Balconing
Bulgarian institutions are alarmed by the gaining popularity balconing and the recent incidents with young European tourists at the Black Sea resorts and they are taking measures against the new craze. Bulgarian authorities had forbidden the jumps from the balconies of hotel rooms practiced mainly by teenagers, who have been drinking or had used drugs and are a hit amusement this summer in the resorts. The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism will warn hotelkeepers and tour operators to cut off the dangerous amusement, deputy minister Ivo Marinov commented before Bulgarian National Radio.
