At the end of the first quarter of 2012, the share of bad credits soared to 16.2% of all granted bank loans in Bulgaria, the national bank said.
This is an increase by 1.28% since the end of 2011.
Added the share of the under-surveillance loans, the share of bad credits in this country soars to 23.4%.
Still, the profit of the banking sector for the first quarter of the year is 11% (18.3 million levs) higher than it was in the same period of 2011.
The personals bank deposits have increased by 2.8% for the first trimester and now they total 32.799 billion levs.
