The successful operations against money counterfeiting and frauds with credit cards conducted by Bulgaria's services were highly appreciated by the director of Europol Rob Wainwright during his meeting with Bulgaria's Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov. Minister Tsvetanov is on a 2-day working visit to the Hague. Mr Wainwright pointed out that the cooperation between Europol and Bulgaria was very fruitful.
During the meeting between minister Tsvetanov and Mr. Wainwright it transpired that thanks to the joint efforts the exchange of data between Bulgaria and Europol had increased by 375%. Minister Tsvetanov had a meeting with Bulgarians who work for Europol.
