The rescue from the crisis will come to Bulgaria from the East: the dream will come true as a deposit of 200 million USD in the Bulgarian National Bank, a proof that Qatari business is prepared to invest in Bulgaria. The money has not been banked in yet but the aspiring beneficiaries have already planned how to spend it. An ad hoc commission has been formed to work out the distribution layout. The most popular idea is to invest the funds in stockbreeding, especially in sheep breeding, a traditional but underfunded sector of the Bulgarian agriculture. According to the initial plans, the farmers will pay off the Qatari investment in kind supplying live sheep or lamb meet to the Qatari market.
