The Bulgarian National Revenue Agency (NRA) collected by 385 million levs more in taxes and insurance contributions till May 17, 2012 compared to the same period of 2011, the NRA reported. By the middle of May the NRA collected 5.3 billion levs as this makes by 8% more compared to 2011. Some 40% of the schedule of the NRA for the whole 2012 were collected by the middle of May 2012.
From the beginning of 2012 till May 17 2012 the NRA collected 876 million levs from income taxes of physical persons which is by 50 million levs more compared to the same period of 2011. The revenues from corporate taxes amount to 803 million levs which is by 20 million levs more compared to the period May 17, 2011.
From the beginning of the year till May 17, the NRA collected a total of 2 billion levs from insurance contributions, the NRA report shows.
