The Sofia branch of the National Revenue Agency collected by 168 million levs more from taxes and insurance end-May 2012 compared to the same period of 2011. The revenues to the state budget total nearly 2 billion levs, which makes a growth of 9.6% on a y/y basis. The plan for the first 5 months of 2012 was fulfilled by over 105% as the revenues are by 93,5 million levs more than expected. The tax revenues to the state budget are 1.2 billion levs which, is by 48 million levs more compared to 2011. The revenues from social and health insurance premiums amount to 588 million levs.
