Bulgaria’s football legend Hristo Stoichkov will hopefully cure the mess in the CSKA FC, one of the most popular football clubs in the country. Stoichkov has been tipped for the President of the CSKA recently. Russian energy giant Gasprom took the commitment to support the club financially and the request for the new appointment came from them. The final decision of the Russians is expected before Friday. The castling in the CSKA top management was made with the assistance of PM Boiko Borisov who was the mediator in the negotiations. Lately the PM has had talks with the representatives of the Reds fan club and discussed the dire situation in the team.
Stoichkov is going to apply the experience of Barcelona in the club’s management. Many of the shareholders in CSKA will provide financial aid, besides it is expected that the new sponsor will also pour money into the club.
