"There will come the end of the misery. Now we will take our due salaries" over 3,000 workers of VMZ-Sopot hoped on Sunday evening. But on the next morning their hopes were blighted. Though PM Borissov ordered that the workers get their salaries and instructed where the funds should be taken from, the salaries did not get their targets as the banks immediately took the money over delayed credit payments. Nearly all workers in VMZ-Sopot have bank credits. After the talks in the Council of Ministers, it transpired that 1 million levs from Kintex company will be transferred to VMZ-Sopot. The money was transferred to VMZ-Sopot but the first to get hold of the money were the banks. Yesterday a big number of workers gathered in front of the main building of the VMZ-Sopot asking why their salaries were not in their bank accounts. The managers of the company explained that banks had already taken the delayed credit payments.
