Bulgaria Supports Afghanistan in Combating Drugs Trafficking
“Bulgaria can assist Afghanistan in combating drugs trafficking,” said Bulgaria’s Deputy PM and Minister of Interior, Tsvetan Tsvetanov. To him, Bulgaria had experience in countering this kind of crime. Tsvetanov talked with Afghani Minister of Counter Narcotics, Zarar Ahmad Moqbel Osmani within the Third Conference of Paris Pact Partners that took place in Vienna. Earlier, at the 15th European Police Congress in Berlin Tsvetanov stated that Bulgaria was prepared for Schengen as it had taken all necessary measures to guarantee the reliability of its borders and had “broken the backbone of the organized crime.” Read
