Business requests prison for VAT draining
Tax inspectors to levy distraint on bank accounts and goods of debtors under strict control and confirmation by senior officer - this idea will be discussed at a meeting between representatives of business organizations and the head of Revenue Agency Krassimir Stefanov next week, transpired yesterday during discussion on tax problems. Business companies requested the change to prevent the blocking of entire business because of erroneous or subjective assessment of tax inspector. Business representatives requested omitted issuing of invoice or not registered invoice to be considered as a crime.
