"I am optimistic about a likely rise in pensions and budget salaries by 10% in the beginning of next year," said Bulgaria's Minister of Finance, Simeon Djankov before journalists at the congress of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria.  The trade unions insist on an income growth of 10% that will compensate for the inflation for the last three years. "We have made calculations and what we need is a more active policy in the selling of certain superfluous state assets," Djankov said.
