Israeli Citizens Hold Memorial Service at the Bombing Site
A memorial service is to be held today on the scene of the bus bombing at the Sarafovo Airport in Bourgas. Israeli Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov is expected to land at the Sarafovo airport in the morning, when the ceremony is scheduled to take place. After that he will fly to Sofia to have talks with President Rossen Plevneliev and PM Boyko Borissov. Finally, at 11 am, he is going to meet representatives of the Israeli community in Bulgaria in Sofia Central Synagogue. "Terrorism will not disrupt our lives and stop our aspirations," Misezhnikov said. He encouraged the public to keep traveling, as meeting people from other countries and visiting different cultures was important, and added that "tourism is a bridge to peace."
