Summer Allows Bulgarians Pay Accumulated Debts
The warm summer months made Bulgarians more willing to pay their accumulated debts. The main reason for the improvement of tax collection is the lack of central heating bills, smaller expenses on electricity and increase of the seasonal employment, sources from the Association of the Collectors agencies in Bulgarian reported. The collection index which the organization calculates since the beginning of 2010 increase to 121,9 points in June while in May it was 119,3 points. The better debt collection in June 2012 reflects the stabilization of the local economy, on the one hand, and the improving financial culture of the Bulgarians, on the other, the association points out. The Bulgarians have already stopped drawing infeasible bank loans and plan their incomes and expenditures better. Read
