Bulgarian Banks Seen as Money Laundries
"Bulgarian banks have become money laundries, as they support the gray economy, which on its part lowers the risk of bad credits," said Bozhidar Danev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Association.
He proposed that auditors should check the origin of the capitals, with which bank loans are repaid.
"We always thoroughly investigate the applicants for bank loans," retorted Violina Marinova, Chairperson of the Bulgarian Bank Association.
